The story of Wright's Farm Restaurant is a story of family. Whether to mark milestones like birthdays and weddings or simply just to spend some time together, families from throughout Southern New England have made our family-style chicken dinners a local tradition.
Purchased by the Frank T. Galleshaw, Jr. family in 1972, Wright's Farm Restaurant has grown steadily over the past forty years to become a landmark in the Northern Rhode Island area. Today, Wright's Farm Restaurant offers banquet seating up to 1,200 people in its six attractively appointed dining rooms, two of which are available for private functions as well as public dining. Cocktails before dinner are thoroughly enjoyable at any one of our comfortable lounge areas. The Main Lounge, complete with two full bars, ensures guests swift and professional service.
A visit to Wright's Farm Restaurant is enhanced by browsing through our large Gift Shop and Toy Store where you'll find an outstanding selection of items from lovely figurines, jewelry and leather goods to inexpensive souvenirs, as well as the most up-to-date toys, games and stuffed animals for children of all ages. In addition, many visitors enjoy an after-dinner stroll over our beautifully manicured grounds.
The most important part of the Wright's Farm Restaurant story remains our fabulous dinners served family-style.The secret lies in our insistence on freshness and our commitment to consistency. Dinner begins with rolls made daily in our own bakery served along with crisp, fresh salad topped with Wright's Farm Classic Italian Dressing. These are followed by family-size portions of shell macaroni, truly unique French fries and our famous chicken. The macaroni is served with Italian sauce made from our own recipe.
Our French Fries are so good that they alone are a reason to visit Wright's Farm Restaurant. Made from fresh, never frozen, specially selected potatoes grown in sweet soil, they offer a taste and consistency that can be found no where else. The main entree, Wright's Farm Restaurant chicken, is not only cooked to a succulent, tender perfection but we start out with the highest quality birds, delivered fresh from our grower, and inspected seven times to ensure quality and consistency.
The Wright's Farm Restaurant family includes a staff of more than one hundred and eighty dedicated people who take great pride in serving the finest product possible. Our waitstaff swiftly delivers a constant flow of steaming dishes prepared in two immaculate kitchens. The staff expertly maneuvers the output of 75 ovens in an efficient system to ensure that each meal is served promptly.
